As many of you know Singer/Songwriter Kelis has ditched her R&B roots for her new electronic/dance sound. Now she is ready to release her first new album since joining Will.I.Am Music/Interscope. First single "Acapella" has already reached #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs and peaked to #5 on the UK Singles Chart. As for the rest of the album, Kelis takes you on a ride from beginning to end. The album is filled with club ready dance/pop tracks with plenty of influences from house and electronic music. Even though the new sound is made very clear she still has a way of making her R&B roots seem present with her voice. I'm loving every second of this album and will for sure be giving it repeated listens this summer
