M.I.A. will now be releasing her as-yet-untitled third studio album on July 6th!! She has already released buzz single "Born Free" which had many people talking due to the controversial video. Now we have the official first single tilted "XXXO" that just premiered on BBC Radio 1. It's an interesting electro-pop number that is set to be released digitally tomorrow! The beat sounds insane so I can't wait to hear it in better quality. For now you can for sure get a feel of the song

Just yesterday I posted a new track that is set to appear on the soundtrack to "Sex and The City 2" due out May 25th!! Now we have what is set to open the film "Rapture" by Alicia Keys. The song is a cover of the oldtime Blondie classic mixed in with the theme of the show. Keys adds her own twist to it without changing too much of the original. The soundtrack is coming together nicely and I'm sure many of you are excited for the film as well

As many of you know Singer/Songwriter Kelis has ditched her R&B roots for her new electronic/dance sound. Now she is ready to release her first new album since joining Will.I.Am Music/Interscope. First single "Acapella" has already reached #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs and peaked to #5 on the UK Singles Chart. As for the rest of the album, Kelis takes you on a ride from beginning to end. The album is filled with club ready dance/pop tracks with plenty of influences from house and electronic music. Even though the new sound is made very clear she still has a way of making her R&B roots seem present with her voice. I'm loving every second of this album and will for sure be giving it repeated listens this summer

Canadian singer-songwriter FeFe Dobson will finally release her new album "Joy" on June 15th!! Singles "I Want You" and "Watch Me Move" have provided Dobson we some good buzz and promo. Now she is ready to release new single titled "Ghost" which leaked not too long ago. I know I'm late in posting this but better late then never. In the track Dobson adds some dance/pop in with her pop/rock sound. It makes for a catchy track and hopefully gives her the push she needs

Australian singer Kylie Minogue is getting ready to release her eleventh studio album "Aphrodite" on July 5th(UK) & 6th (US)!! This is her newest effort since the release of 07's "X." The official first single "All the Lovers" just premiered in the UK on BBC Radio 1. The mid-tempo pop track was written by Jim Elliot & Mima Stilwell and produced by Elliot & Stuart Price. It's nothing really different from Kylie but I do love the uplifting feel of the song. It's a perfect mix of electro/disco/pop just in time for summer

The first season of television series Glee is coming to an end with only four more episodes left. Before the season comes to an end they will be releasing "Glee: The Music, Volume 3 – Showstoppers" on May 18th!! It will contain songs from the second half of the first season.
